As an ENFJ (Protagonist), I feel like I carry a unique mix of charisma, empathy, and idealism that naturally shapes how I move through the world. I tend to connect with people easily, and I genuinely care about making a positive impact on those around me. I often find myself picking up on others’ emotions and unspoken needs, sometimes even before they fully recognize them themselves.

Communication is one of my strengths—I’m able to express my ideas with passion and conviction, especially when I believe in something deeply. I love bringing people together and inspiring them toward a shared vision. There’s something really fulfilling about helping others grow and seeing the best in them, even when they don’t see it in themselves.

At the same time, I know my idealism can work against me. I sometimes set high expectations for people and situations, and it can be disappointing when reality doesn’t live up to what I hoped for. Still, that sense of hope and belief in what could be is a big part of who I am.

AI In Photography

The article from Adorama explains that artificial intelligence (AI) is already deeply integrated into photography, often in ways photographers may not even notice. It highlights how modern cameras use AI for features like facial recognition, eye autofocus, and automatic exposure adjustments, allowing photographers to focus more on creativity rather than technical settings. Additionally, AI powered editing tools can enhance images by adjusting lighting, removing noise, and sharpening details, showing that AI’s primary role is to improve efficiency and image quality rather than replace the photographer.

Another key point in the article is how AI expands the creative and practical workflow of photographers. Tools such as image generators, upscalers, and editing software enable photographers to create mood boards, plan shoots, and even generate entirely new images from text prompts. AI can also automate time-consuming tasks like sorting photos, keywording images, and basic editing, which allows photographers to spend more time on shooting and client work. This demonstrates that AI is not just a technical aid but also a creative assistant that can inspire ideas and streamline business operations.

Overall, the article argues that AI is transforming photography by making it faster, more accessible, and more versatile, while still maintaining the importance of human creativity. Although AI can generate images and automate processes, photographers are still needed for artistic direction, storytelling, and authenticity. The technology is best understood as a tool that enhances not replaces the role of the photographer, suggesting that those who adapt to AI will have a significant advantage in the evolving photography industry.

Business of Photography

successfully growing a photography business requires a combination of clear positioning, consistent marketing, and strategic pricing. By focusing on a specific niche, creating engaging content, and building strong local partnerships, a photographer can attract the right clients and establish a recognizable brand. Effective marketing efforts, combined with direct outreach and client referrals, help generate both immediate and long-term opportunities.

Equally important is setting competitive, value based pricing that reflects the quality of work and experience offered, while also allowing room for growth as demand increases. Using structured packages instead of hourly rates makes services more appealing and easier for clients to understand.

Finally, having a well, defined contract is essential to protect both the photographer and the client. Clear terms regarding scope of work, payments, timelines, and usage rights ensure professionalism and prevent misunderstandings.

Story Behind The Photo

My name is Ethan and am highly retarted with failing most of my classes. I see the world differently because of my slowness. This makes me different than others because I think slower than usually what others think and can’t do things on my own. I also need an assistant al the time for my syndrome which is cause I’m a chud.

5 Positives & Negatives of AI

Good

1. It increases efficiency

AI can complete tasks much faster than humans, especially repetitive or data-heavy work. This helps businesses save time and money.

2. It reduces human error

AI systems can analyze information with high accuracy, which is useful in fields like medicine, engineering, and finance.

3. It improves accessibility

Tools like speech-to-text, language translation, and visual assistance help people with disabilities or language barriers.

4. It boosts creativity

AI can help generate ideas, edit photos, write drafts, and support artists, designers, and students in creative projects.

5. It solves complex problems

Bad

1. It can replace certain jobs

Automation may reduce the need for some human workers, especially in repetitive or low-skill roles.

2. It may spread misinformation

If not monitored, AI can generate incorrect or misleading information that spreads quickly online.

3. It raises privacy concerns

Some AI systems collect and analyze personal data, which can be misused if not properly protected.

4. It can reinforce bias

AI learns from data created by humans. If that data contains bias, the AI may unintentionally repeat or amplify it.

5. It may reduce human creativity or effort

If people rely too heavily on AI, they might stop developing their own problem‑solving or creative skills.

Wide Angle vs Telephoto Read & Write

The article “Wide‑Angle vs. Telephoto: Which Lens Should You Choose?” from Adorama’s Learning Center is a comprehensive guide for photographers—especially beginners—exploring the key differences, strengths, and use cases of wide-angle and telephoto lenses. It explains how wide-angle lenses (typically 34 mm and shorter) offer expansive fields of view with exaggerated perspective—making them ideal for architecture, interior shots, and immersive landscapes—while telephoto lenses (starting around 80 mm or longer) bring distant subjects closer, compressing depth and creating pleasing bokeh, perfect for wildlife, sports, portraits, and astrophotography. The article breaks down lens types—such as short, medium, and super telephoto, as well as ultra-wide and fisheye—and clearly outlines their pros and cons, helping readers decide which lens suits a particular photographic style or situation.

Types Of Photography Read & Write

The Purpose of the article introduces a wide range of popular photography niches to help readers explore different styles and eventually narrow down a specialization Adorama the reason to specialize
while experimentation is valuable for beginners, mastering one niche often leads to greater success and professional recognition

Camera Simulator assignment

The camera simulator helped me get my photography skills back after not doing it all summer. It helped me understand how to use aperture and iso again and how to take good pictures. The camera simulator helped me with lighting, and I also tried out depth of field on it. In all I learned and got better with the pictures and ready for this year.

Read & Write Review

  1. Aperture controls the amount of light that comes into the camera. The shutter speed is how long the camera opens to let in light. ISO is sensitivity to light.
  2. You change it when your picture is to bright or too dark.
  3. Aperture and shutter priority settings are semi-automatic camera modes that allow photographers to control specific aspects of exposure while the camera automatically adjusts the other settings.
  4. AF modes are settings on your camera that determine how the autofocus system behaves, and you can change them using the AF mode selector on your camera.
  5. Metering light is essential in photography because it helps determine the optimal settings for aperture, shutter speed, and ISO, ensuring that your images are neither overexposed nor underexposed.
  6. Wide angle: Has a much wider view than a standard lens, capturing more of the scene. Normal lens: Best for medium shots and provides a natural perspective. Telephoto lens: Acts like a telescope, allowing you to take pictures of distant objects.
  7. White balance is the process of adjusting colors in photography to remove color casts.
  8. Depth of field in photography refers to the area of acceptable sharpness in front of and behind the subject which the lens is focused. The difference between shallow depth of field and deep depth of field is as follows
  9. Drive modes in photography refer to the settings that determine how the camera behaves when the shutter button is pressed.
  10. Exposure compensation is a feature in photography that allows you to override the camera’s automatic exposure settings to either brighten or darken your images.
